Tết – or Lunar New Year – is a season of family reunion in Vietnam. This year, we were grateful to recreate that feeling of home for our international students in Canada through Tết Vị Nhà. 🏮
At Tết Vị Nhà, each student brought a dish that reminded them of their hometown, shared stories over familiar flavours, and played the folk games we grew up with. For a moment, it truly felt like home again.
This event was made possible thanks to Ms. Anqi (Angel) Cao, Newton International College & Global Community Care, as part of our commitment to supporting the minor student community in Canada. A heartfelt thank you to Vietnamese food vendors — Vocado Kitchen and Check-in Corners — for generously supporting us with sticky rice and milk tea.
