the Intercultural Communication Enhancement Program

​​This course is created to help students become better learners by developing their creative, organizational, and collaborative skills, and enhancing their communication proficiencies. It focuses on strategies to help students become better, more independent learners and to recognize the full potential in each student. Dramatic presentations will be a central theme throughout the course.

The course is to be taught in Grade 7 and Grade 8. Each grade has a different focus and content. It is critical that students complete the Grade 7 course before doing the Grade 8 course.

GRADE 7

Learning & Communication Strategies Course

Grade 7 has 2 modules to be completed in 20 weeks.

Students will focus their studies on personal development, team building, learning styles, writing drama scripts, learning dialogue, and performing in a play. 

Students will be evaluated in completing a passport, participating in activities, and performing in a play.

Students will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment on completing Grade 7.

GRADE 8

students will be evaluated in completing a passport, participating in activities, and creating a newspaper.

Grade 8 has 2 modules to be completed in 20 weeks.

Students will focus their studies on time management, making schedules, understanding social issues, researching, analyzing, presenting information, and creating a newspaper.

Students will be evaluated in completing a passport, participating in activities, and creating a newspaper.

Students will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment on completing Grade 8.
