Merry Christmas

December 17, 2021

On Friday, December 17th, 2021, Newton International College organized a warm Christmas Assembly to let all our students, teachers, and staff celebrate the most wonderful holiday of the year. This event was successfully hosted by Maggie and Sunny, who are members of the NIC Student Council.

Principal Rudy expressed his affirmation, encouragement, and gratitude for everyone’s hard work throughout 2021. Many activities took place during the event such as the mini-game “Scavenger Hunt” to find and capture items that represent the Christmas spirit, and the “Secret Santa” to let our students experience the joy of giving during Christmas holiday.

Students, teachers, and staff carried out various performances from singing traditional Christmas songs to “Eyes, Nose, Lips”,  sung in three different languages. One of the show’s highlights was the performance of our principal Rudy, teacher Johnny, student Nicole, and staff Zoey. They played five different instruments on stage, pushing the audience’s excitement to a climax!

Time passes, time flies, and in a blink of an eye, 2021 has drawn to a close. Looking back on the past year, students have accomplished many proud achievements. Newton hopes all students obtain more success next year.

Finally, Newton wishes all the students, teachers, and staff a great holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
