Did you know that the student-teacher ratio at Newton is 5 students to 1 teacher ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป? This means that our teachers truly understand each student’s learning style, allowing them to provide the best teaching methods for each individual ๐Ÿ’ฌ Let’s meet some of our exemplary subject teachers this semester at Newton.

 

 

โœŒ๏ธMr. Frederick Fryer ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ผ

A graduate of York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Mr. Fryer has over 20 years of teaching experience in English Literature with a diverse group of students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

โœŒ๏ธMrs. Mamta Motwani ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ผ

She began her teaching career in 1999 with the hope of nurturing the hidden talents of her students. She currently teaches Art and Careers at Newton.

 

 

โœŒ๏ธMr. Chandra Soma ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ

One of the most seasoned and dedicated teachers at NIC, Mr. Soma holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics and has mastered some of the most challenging subjects at NIC

Mr. Anthony was once one of the top-performing students at Newton. After completing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, he chose to return to Newton to pass on his passion to the next generation of students.

 

โœŒ๏ธMr. Saeyoon Chandra ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ป D

Despite only appearing online with his students, his subject is the most loved. In addition to his online classes at Newton, Saeyoon also serves as a teaching assistant for professors at the University of Toronto.
